International Horticulture Goyang Korea

International Horticulture Korea (IHK) was successfully held in the city of Goyang (Republic of Korea), 28 April – 14 May, 2017.

 

The first exhibition INK was held in 1997. Annually this international event attracts over half a million visitors including large horticultural companies and operators of the Korean flower market as well as end consumers and lovers of flowers from all over the country.

 

Along with local producers there were also presented displays of Holland, Ecuador, China, Nepal, Russia, SA, Kenya, Sri Lanka, Japan and other countries.

 

International floral competition “Flower Moments 2017” was organized within the frameworks of the exhibition. Famous florists from France, Japan, Russia, Slovenia, Hong Kong and other countries were invited to take part in the competition.

 

Natalya Zhihzko, European Champion 2011, presented Russia at the competition. She was awarded by “Trend Award”.

 

On the initiative of Goyang International Flower Foundation (GIFF), the organizer of the exhibition, during the exhibition there was held a Congress of Asian Flower Exhibitions with participation of 7 countries including Butane, Indonesia, Kazakhstan, Korea, Malaysia, Nepal and Taiwan.

 

Topical issues dealing with enhancing exhibition efficiency, attraction of the largest number of interested participants and visitors were discussed at the congress.

 

International Horticulture Korea was visited by all largest companies engaged in flower business and customers from all over the world.

 

It was a large festive event that made a sizable contribution in the development of this sector of the Korean economy demonstrating a true trend of the country’s horticulture.
