Post-release “FlowersExpo- 2022”

On September 13-15, the premiere of the main event of the year, the XII International Exhibition FlowersExpo2022, took place in Moscow at the Crocus Expo IEC, demonstrating unprecedented interest and hopes of the professional community this year.

The XII International Exhibition "FlowersExpo" - the undisputed leader among exhibitions of this subject, a successful communication and marketing project of the B2B class - has successfully ended.

The exhibition was traditionally held under the auspices of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation and with the support of professional associations - the National Guild of Florists, the Association "Greenhouses of Russia", the Association of Producers of Planting Material.

235 companies from Russia and 8 foreign countries took part in FlowersExpo 2022. 1600 specialists and heads of participating companies met visitors at the stands.

The entire range of products of the "green" sector was presented in the halls of the exhibition: cut and potted flowers, planting stock of flower crops, seedlings of trees and shrubs, machinery and equipment, materials, gardening products, soils, fertilizers, plant protection products from pests and diseases, accessories for floristry and decor items for the garden and home. Especially widely - the domestic production of goods and services for the market of flowers and plants.

New premieres took place, new names appeared. Among the participants, 25% are new companies in various areas of the "green" sector.

The visitors were waiting for flowers from the exhibition "FlowersExpo". And the cut flowers were presented by the Russian producers: Kaluga Flower Holding, Yaroslavl and Novosibirsk greenhouse complexes of Gorkunov Group of Companies, Atena from Orenburg, World of Flowers from Mordovia, Flower and Ornamental Cultures from Udmurtia, Galantus and Flowers from Mitrofanov from Kaluga. Producers and suppliers of cut flowers from foreign countries were also present at the exhibition.

A variety of planting material from the largest Russian nurseries and leading seed companies, floristic products, as well as plant protection products, soils, fertilizers, equipment and IT technologies were also widely presented. These segments especially increased in 2022.

As an important marketing event for businesses, the exhibition focuses on innovations and trends in the production and sale of flowers and plants, technologies and products for floriculture and horticulture.

Within the framework of the exhibition, 5 competitions were held, the winners of which were awarded with diplomas and medals of the exhibition.

 In the competition for the best product quality, the following companies became nominees: Agrofirm "Poisk", Ornamental flower crops, BioMaster, Kaluga Flower Holding, State Budgetary Institution "Ozelenenie", Novosibirsky Greenhouse Complex, ASC, Summer Garden.

The winners of the novelty of the year competition were the following companies: Schelkovo Agrokhim, RUSINCHEM, Farao, ZION RUS, ZĚMA, ORGANIC MIX, Euroseeds, De Ruiter, NVP "BashInkom", Keramika Zolotoe, Ornamental flower crops, Sakata, Agrofirma “Poisk”.

The following companies won the competition for the best innovative solution: RUSINCHEM, Organic Line, NVP "BashIncom", Schelkovo Agrokhim, ORGANIC MIX.

The winners in the competition for the best exposition design were: IP Kharchenko R.V., TH "ATENA", RUSINCHEM.

The FlowersExpo 2022 exhibition managed to not only maintain its high status as a key industry forum, but also develop it. An important feature of this year's exhibition was its rich and vibrant business program on topical issues of business development, restoration of logistics and partnerships. For the first time at the exhibition, the number of business events exceeded the number of floristic events of the exhibition.

The speakers were not only representatives of the companies participating in the exhibition, but also invited experts and specialists. In total, 87 speakers and more than 2,000 listeners participated in the business program of the exhibition.

For three days, 50 diverse business events were held at 6 venues. Including: conference "FlowersCONF", and for the first-time organized conferences: "The Future of Flower Farming in Russia", "Green Retail: Garden Center-2022". The Day of Russian Nurseries was successfully held, where topical issues of interaction between nurseries, garden centers and landscape architects in the new economic conditions were discussed. Domestic specialists of the chain "production - sales" discussed the topic: "How to maintain the quality of a flower from the producer to the shop."

Floristic events, which always attract professionals not only from the regions of Russia, but also from neighboring countries, became a real decoration of the exhibition.

The key event was the Russian Championship of Florists. This year 9 contestants participated in the Championship. The general theme of all competitive tasks is "About traditions ...". Slava Rosca, flower studio SLAVA ROSCA, florist school ROSCA SCHOOL (Moscow) became the winner. The master scored the maximum number of points in the first four competitive tasks.

And future florists took part in the traditional contest of students of floristic schools "Touching Perfection". 4 schools took part in the competition. Primavera School of Floristry and Design won the title of Winner.

Original colorful works were presented to the jury by 32 florists from 13 Russian cities participating in the Russian Florist AWARDS 2022 competition.

Bright colorful shows of the masters of floristry were held on the main stage of the exhibition. Including the show of champions "Silver". The show was attended by: Name Academy with Natalia Zhizhko, vice-champion of the World-2019, and Armen Voskanyan, participant of the European Championship of Floristry-2022. The show of Andrey Kalashnikov and Olga Sharova, the winners of the Russian Florists' Award of previous years, attracted a lot of attention, Araik Galstyan's show "White and Black. Wedding Floristry" was traditionally effective and popular.

 An important feature of the FlowersExpo project is that it attracts professional visitors from even the most remote cities of Russia. The exhibition at IEC "Crocus Expo" was visited by 10,700 people from all regions of Russia, CIS countries and foreign countries. As in the previous two years, this is undoubtedly helped by its online format The digital platform of the exhibition FlowersExpo.Online provided the participants with the opportunity to promote their products and services to consumers anywhere in the country. The online format of the exhibition continues its work and will be available for visiting until June 2023.

The idea of ​​the exhibition was also expanded by its own TV channel FlowersExpo.TV, which broadcast daily and introduced everyone to the participants, important business events and bright floristic events.
