GreenExpo 2025: three days of eco trends, innovation and professional meetings

From 8 to 10 September 2025, the International exhibition and forum for ecology and the landscape industry GreenExpo 2025 was held at IEC “Crocus Expo”. This is a new exhibition project and an effective platform for manufacturers, distributors and consumers of eco products/technologies and for the landscape industry.
The exhibition brought together business, end consumers and industry specialists, and was organized to support eco-friendly businesses and promote an ECO lifestyle.
GreenExpo 2025 was attended by 12,114 visitors, including:
• buyers and managers of retail chains, restaurants, garden centers, flower/eco shops;
• distributors of eco goods;
• landscape architects and contractors;
• everyone who cares about themselves and the environment.
Sections of the GreenExpo 2025 exhibition-forum:
organic farming; city farming; landscape ecology; eco products for people and pets; clean home and garden; recycling; eco lifestyle; eco education and awareness.
For exhibitors, GreenExpo 2025 made it possible to:
• obtain guaranteed high-quality B2B contacts with distributors, buyers from retail chains, eco shops, garden centers and others;
• attract the full target audience – both B2B and B2C;
• showcase their products/services to an interested audience;
• expand their sales market and geography;
• increase brand awareness;
• receive feedback from exhibition visitors.
Visitors to GreenExpo 2025 enjoyed:
• two exhibitions with one ticket – GreenExpo 2025 was held on the same site as FlowersExpo 2025;
• 385 industry companies from 16 countries in three halls of IEC “Crocus Expo”;
• a rich event program: workshops, lectures, a lottery, prize draws and gifts from exhibitors;
• live meetings with bloggers and experts.
Key events of the exhibition this year included:
On 8 September – the open conference “Russian Gardens. The Path to Perfection”. The focus of the conference was on gardens as ecosystems and gardens over time: from design to maintenance. The organizers were the Landscape Photo Exhibition and the Congress of Gardeners of Russia. On the same day, the GIPLI Landscape Conference “Strategic Tasks of the Landscape Industry in Shaping a Comfortable Urban Environment” was held, where the goal of increasing the time city residents spend outdoors was discussed in close connection with an ecological approach to the creation of green spaces.
On 9 September, the first industry conference on the development and promotion of organic and eco brands took place. The conference was organized by the GreenExpo 2025 organizing committee and the NKmedia marketing agency. Speakers included experts from companies such as: Wildberries&Russ, the “Organica” Foundation, Roskachestvo, NKmedia, the Organic Farming School of Svetlana Zolotaryova, SEMKO LLC, Major Agro, Syntx and the Union of Organic Farming.
On the same day, the ROSA Association Conference “Interaction of Landscape, Nursery Production and Irrigation” was held – a landmark event for the industry. Leading industry associations ALAROS and ROSA came together on one platform to work for the benefit of the “green” market.
A highlight of the day was a large guided tour of the eco stands at GreenExpo 2025 and FlowersExpo 2025 led by blogger Nina Fomenkova.
The main theme of the second day was practical organic farming. All day long, workshops were held on stage, including: grafting conifers; creating a mini rock garden in a container with conifers. There was also a plant repotting competition where anyone could take part and win valuable prizes.
On 10 September, the forum “Biodiversity: In Harmony with Nature” took place. The forum was organized by Svetlana Zolotaryova’s Organic Farming School.
Speakers at the forum included experts from companies such as Poisk, the Center for Biological Plant Protection, BashInkom, practicing gardeners and students of the Organic Farming School.
The culmination of the forum was a tasting of Russian-bred varieties and hybrids of vegetable crops.
A win-win lottery was held on all days: every guest who took part received a gift from the exhibitors of GreenExpo 2025 and FlowersExpo 2025.
A loud finale to GreenExpo 2025 was the award ceremony of the “Eco Blogger and Eco Brand” prize. Winners received coveted statuettes, and finalists received diplomas.
In addition, throughout all days of the exhibition, visitors were offered engaging educational activities at exhibitors’ stands focused on quality of life, safety and environmental friendliness, accompanied by seminars, workshops, lectures from leading industry experts and promotional activities.
